Digitization of the Ethnographic Museum of Arachova

Project Overview
Since its establishment, the Ethnographic Museum of Arachova has consistently sought to embrace new approaches to traditional culture—not only in terms of museum storytelling, but also by fostering connections with the local community in the present day, thereby contributing to sustainable local development.
Guided by its mission to study and promote the traditional culture of Arachova, the Museum implemented the project “Digitization, Promotion and Utilization of the Historical Archive and Collections of Woven and Embroidery Designs of the Ethnographic Museum of Arachova”, under the auspices of the Municipality of Distomo-Arachova-Antikyra.
This important initiative focuses on the documentation, management, and promotion of the Museum’s collections through the use of modern technologies.
With the ultimate goal of establishing a comprehensive digital strategy for the Museum that will yield long-term benefits, the project combined mature technological solutions with specialized services.
